I haven’t watched the Chicago Bulls since the 90’s when they had Michael, Scotty and Rodman. But, since they were in the playoffs with the Miami Heat I figured what the heck. I can watch them. So the last two games I watched the last period, quarter whatever and both times they blew leads,

Yesterday’s game was a mess. Blowing an 11 point lead with 2 minutes to go.

Unbelievable...........

Well it seems like everyone is gearing up for the Memorial Day weekend. Stores have thier best “American Flag” T-shirts on display and all the (at least lot of them) are willing to give a 10% discount if you were a Veteran.

This is good for me because we need a giant ladder. It sounds crazy but in our living room the ceilings are so high that none of the ladders are tall enough to reach the smoke alarm that sits on the ceiling. I know that if we don’t get the big ladder that smoke alarm will need a battery and start beeping in the middle of the night.

We have lived here three years and luckily the smoke alarm batteries were replaced when the air conditioner guy was here changing the filters so we asked him if he would change them. He did but I can’t depend on him to come when the thing starts beeping. He would change them but when something like a smoke alarm starts it’s chirping then you need to have it changed now, not in two or three days.

So, that’s the need for a big tall ladder and what day to get it on? Memorial Day!

For all the people that were here in Cape Coral or anywhere in South West Florida, on vacation, were treated to weather that was just excellent. The weathermen have been reporting that it has been a record spring and will continue on into the summer. But on a bad note, they also are predicting 3 to 6 major hurricanes to hit Southwest Florida during the up and coming hurricane season. Let’s just all hope they are wrong.

This weekend was one of laziness for me. Spent some time in the pool which was the only place to be because of the heat, no, not the Miami Heat but the heat that comes with the high humidity here in Florida. I am planning on doing more of the same for the rest of this week anyway.

I need to put up some pictures of stuff. Next post, pictures of stuff.

Well I am finally back. Seems that I just could not get it together and add information to these pages. I don’t know if I could not find the time to add stuff, (yea right) or if I was just plain lazy.

I want to put up some pictures but I need to get them together so I can put them here.

So..... What's new with me? Truth be told.... Nothing. Finally got the garage done. Yea! It is now filled with pretty much all of the stuff from the old garage. There is still plenty of room in the new one. I moved all my tools, bought some shelves and drawers along with Craftsmen tool boxes and added some exercise equipment and I can still put two cars in it if I want to. Or a small motorcycle!

Summer is here in South West Florida. We have had record weather. It’s been 90° here for a month. But actually for the past three days it has only been in the high 80’s but coming this weekend it jumps back to the 90’s. Thank God for AC and a pool.
