I had a post op appointment yesterday with the Doctor that did the third operation on my foot.
I was somewhat surprised that the incision was a bit longer then what he described but all in all, it’s good.
So, a few more weeks staying off of it and hopefully it will be as good as new.

Well, once again I am on the mend.
I had yet another foot operation to remove a spur that had grown on the bone at the ball of my foot.
This is the third operation on that same foot. Four if you count the one I had in Chicago 5 years ago.
Hopefully it will be my last!!

Well fall is officially upon us. The mornings are cool and the rest of the day is not so humid.
So based on that what time is it? Foot surgery time!
I am having foot surgery on November 16th. Seems like I have a surgery once a year. This time it is to shave a small portion of a bone under the ball of my foot. I am hopeful that it will be the last surgery I will have to get.

Another foot operation

Well the last time I went to see my foot doctor he took some x-rays of my foot. Seems that I have an ulcer (again) on the bottom of it and there is a bone spur growing just under the ball of my foot which he believes is the cause of me getting ulcers there.
So I say “Yes” to the question... do you want me to operate on it and cut off the spur? He then states that I need a clearance from my primary care doctor, which I had an appointment with a few days later. He, the primary guy, says that he would release me for the surgery.
Anyway, to make a long story short, another doctor got involved and he want’s me to see a cardiologist before he can release me for surgery!
Well guess what... I ain’t doing it. No more doctors for me. I have enough of them now so unless the foot guy can do it based on my diabetes doctor, I ain’t doing it. Period.
